Kayak Paradise is a New Zealand tour company with a difference. We combine the enjoyment of kayaking on some of our magnificent waterways, with a sightseeing trip of New Zealand. On our tours we will visit major attractions, and also allow you to experience some of the remote areas New Zealand has to offer.

We will offer you a quality experience and will look after you on and off the water. Your tour will be guided by Greg and Barbara, the directors of Kayak Paradise. Each tour is limited to 16 people to ensure a personalised service which will make your holiday especially memorable.

Greg is a New Zealander who knows this country from the top of the North Island to the bottom of the South Island. He has also travelled extensively in Australia, Europe, the United Kingdom and Asia, and enjoys meeting people from different countries.

Barbara is originally from Germany and has lived in New Zealand for over 26 years. She is bi-lingual and fully qualified in tourism. She has seen much of Europe and has travelled in Australia, Japan and the United States.

Our New Zealand designed, quality single and double kayaks from Q-Kayaks are stable and easy to use. We will be paddling mainly in sheltered waters in a relaxed way which will allow you to get close to nature. Our tours cater for those with limited kayaking experience and only a moderate level of fitness. However, there will be opportunities for fit and experienced paddlers to do that little bit extra.

We are passionate about New Zealand and exploring the many beautiful harbours and lakes in our kayaks (always with a camera close at hand). We promise you the best service, so you can enjoy a unique experience and a carefree holiday. Let us share it with you.
